Eligibility Criteria

a) The candidates must have passed MBBS examination from a recognized medical college and should have obtained final registration from the Medical Council of the concerned country, after completion of one year rotating internship training. Additional one year clinical experience in recognized hospitals is required as per Medical Council of Mauritius. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate of at least one year from the relevant authorities of the hospital were they have practiced.

b) The candidate undergoing two year rotating internship training and likely to obtain final registration certificate from the Medical Council of the concerned country, on and before 30st June, 2011 can also appear for the interview. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate from the relevant authorities regarding the likely date of completion of rotating internship training failing which his application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected.

c) The candidates should be reasonably well versed in English.

d) The candidates of any nationality can apply by producing the nationality certificate.
